Private caregiving is coordinated at Sanura House by our own specialized care team, with your dignity and safety held at the center of every visit. This is not home health care. It's care built around you, delivered in a space made for exactly that.

Enrichment

Every week, women gather at Sanura House to sit together, be fed, and be known outside of any crisis. Alongside that, we run curated activities including movement classes, creative workshops, and shared meals, and so much more to keep you engaged, plus the ongoing support of your dedicated care concierge, the one point of contact who always knows where you are in your journey.

Your care concierge

From the moment you submit the care form, you're assigned a concierge who becomes your steady point of contact. You'll never have to explain your story from the beginning again.

1. Who we are

Sanura Care operates Sanura House and its community of care, M.E.N.D, across Kenya. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you share with us, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

2. What we collect

When you complete our care form, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and county. We also collect the support needs you select, any optional notes you choose to add, and a record of your consent, including the date and time it was given.

3. Why we collect it

• To identify you and create a dedicated concierge record so our team recognizes you across every interaction.
• To assess and coordinate the care services that may be relevant to you.
• To contact you by phone, SMS, or email about scheduling, gatherings, activities, and continued care.
• To maintain accurate, up to date records so your care concierge can support you consistently.
• In aggregate, anonymized form, the support needs women select help us understand where to focus resources across the communities we serve.

4. How we use your information

Your information is used solely for the purposes above. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing unrelated to Sanura Care's services. Only staff and caregivers directly involved in coordinating your care can access your record.

5. How we store and protect it

Your information is stored securely and access is limited to authorized Sanura Care personnel. We keep your information only for as long as it's needed to provide care or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted.

6. Your rights

• You can ask us what information we hold about you at any time.
• You can ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
• You can withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time, without affecting any care already in progress.
• You can ask us to delete your record, subject to any legal or safety obligations that require us to retain certain information.

7. Sharing your information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except where necessary to deliver care (for example, a referral to a medical partner with your knowledge), or where required by law.

1. About M.E.N.D

M.E.N.D (Meaningful Nourishment, Enriching Divinely) is the community of care operated under Sanura House, a program of Sanura Care. These terms govern your relationship with us once you submit the care form or take part in our services.

2. Eligibility

Our services are intended for women, and we currently operate across Kenya. By submitting the care form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that it belongs to you.

3. Nature of our services

Sanura House offers private caregiving, counseling, weekly fellowship gatherings, engaging activities, and a dedicated care concierge. These services are provided with care and professionalism, but they are not a substitute for emergency medical treatment. In a medical emergency, please contact local emergency services immediately.

4. Your care concierge ID

Each woman who submits the care form receives a unique concierge ID. This ID is used internally to identify your record and coordinate the services that may be relevant to you. It does not need to be shared publicly and is not required to receive care, but it helps our team serve you faster.

5. Consent to be contacted

By checking the consent box on the care form, you agree that Sanura Care may contact you by phone, SMS, or email for the sole purpose of offering and coordinating care services. You may withdraw this consent at any time by informing your care concierge.

6. Confidentiality

Anything you share with your caregiver, counselor, or care concierge is treated as confidential and is only used to provide you with appropriate care, except where disclosure is required to protect your safety or by law.

7. Community conduct

Weekly gatherings and activities are spaces of mutual respect. We ask every woman in the M.E.N.D community to treat other members, caregivers, and staff with dignity and kindness.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services. Continued participation in M.E.N.D after an update means you accept the revised terms.
